
Lauren Coffey is honored to serve as the Director of Graduate Academic Services at UNC Charlotte. She came to Charlotte after 14 years as a faculty member, including five years as a graduate program director at Winthrop University. She started working in higher education after receiving a B.A. in American Studies from Stanford University and a Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School.
Throughout her career, she has been passionate about enhancing graduate student experiences, providing academic guidance, and ensuring students have the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. In this role, she is committed to fostering a supportive environment that empowers graduate students to reach their academic goals. This includes working closely with academic programs to review and enhance policies that support the academic success of graduate students in an ever-evolving educational landscape.
