$750,000 GRANT AWARDED FOR VETERAN GRADUATE STUDIES

The Office of Naval Research and Development has awarded UNC Charlotte a $750,000 grant to help attract and support military veterans in enrolled in STEM disciplines at the graduate level. The program emphasizes mechanical engineering. The three-year program builds on the success of a similar program that ran from 2014-17.
