Dr. Daryl L. Kerr recently joined the Thomas L. Reynolds Center for Graduate Life and Learning as Faculty Associate.
In his new role, Kerr will work with graduate students on their public speaking and presentation skills, teaching two newly developed courses: GRAD 6000/8000 The Art of Public Speaking and GRAD 6000/8000 Communication and Leadership in the Workplace. He will also provide coaching to all graduate students participating in Charlotte’s Three-Minute Thesis, an international research communication competition held annually.
A former professor and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs in the Belk College of Business. His research interests include communication in the workplace, career planning, resumes and vitas, job search, employment interviewing and leadership. Dr. Kerr is originally from Charlotte and is an alumnus of UNC Charlotte.
