Graduate Admissions is transitioning to Slate by Technolutions on September 15th, which will provide the University with a comprehensive, scalable, integrated and sustainable recruitment and admissions system. The current AdmissionPros system (mygradschool.uncc.edu AND eGRAD.uncc.edu) will be brought down on September 7th at 11:59 pm. Prospective students are being encouraged to submit their application and supporting materials on or before September 7th, else they can submit materials in Slate beginning September 15th. Similarly, Graduate Program Directors are encouraged to make recommendations on all complete applications prior to September 8th or wait until after the Slate go-live on September 15th. Slate training will be available to graduate program directors and staff beginning September 13th, so stay tuned to GPDNet for additional details.
Between September 8th - 15th, applications and supporting materials will be migrated to Slate and prospective students for 2022 will be emailed new system credentials to access the new system on or around September 15th. Similarly, recommendation providers are being encouraged to submit references by September 7th at 11:59 pm, otherwise, they will be provided new system and login credentials for Slate on or around September 15th. The Graduate School is excited to launch a new admissions management system that is more tailored to the user, and will eagerly demo it for interested units.
