Submit Dissertation Defense Announcement

To ensure a smooth process for your dissertation defense, please review all steps of the submission process below before completing the submission form:

• Review all required steps for submitting your dissertation.
• Complete and submit this form at least two weeks before your proposed defense date. Double-check all information on the form for accuracy before submitting.
• You must be logged in with your UNC Charlotte email address to submit the form. Submissions from other email addresses will not be accepted.
• Dissertation defenses are public events and are expected to be held in-person and on-campus. Zoom or other virtual setups for a defense may be granted for extenuating circumstances but must be approved by the Graduate School. If approved, please do not include a virtual link in your announcement.

Once your announcement is approved, it will be visible on the official Dissertation Defense Calendar.
