Recruitment & Admissions
Our Recruitment and Admissions team serves as a resource to faculty and prospective graduate students, assisting with recruiting expertise, processing student applications and providing the support for a smooth start to graduate education.
GPDNet is UNC Charlotte’s virtual portal for Graduate Program Directors to access important news, announcements, data, reports, tools and training opportunities. The portal also allows Graduate Program Directors (GPDs) to manage their strategic Graduate Enrollment Management Plans. Users who have access to GPDNet can provide access to other faculty or administrative personnel and give them two different levels of access.
Through our team of Admissions Counselors, the Graduate School offers access to various types of graduate programs including Master’s, Doctoral, Graduate Certificate, and Post-Baccalaureate (non-degree), as well as Early Entry for exemplary UNC Charlotte undergraduate students and Accelerated Master’s for high achieving freshman applicants. The entire admission process is available online.
Admissions works closely with each graduate program and its Graduate Program Director (GPD) through SLATE to attract and enroll the best and brightest student population.
Admissions staff also manage the myriad funding sources available to students including scholarships, fellowships, awards and financial aid, and provide advice and counsel to connect students with funding sources. For more information, visit the Graduate School’s Funding page.
