Leading from Behind
When making the transition from school to the workplace, soft skills can be the hardest to learn and master. In this interactive session, we focus on the idea of "leading from behind." Any leader works to lead their team; how can a leader teach and motivate the team to take initiative and solve problems in the way that the leader would - without the leader getting directly involved? Conversely, how can members of a team most effectively help their leader lead? This leading from behind often requires more than just completing assigned tasks. We will explore these dimensions and other parts of the idea of leading from behind.
Chris Cardwell is head of Product Go To Market for Tresata, where he leads Tresata’s GTM strategy to bring augmented intelligence to market & solve complex business challenges that enterprises face today. At the start of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Chris led the development of HEALTHi, a personalized predictive intelligence app and Tresata’s first ever consumer app. Previously, he has worked as a senior data engineer and has been an instrumental in multiple global implementations of Tresata software across all key verticals and use cases.
Alex Feliciano is the Director of Client Delivery at Tresata, where he is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of Tresata software implementations for Fortune 500 companies across industries in Health, Wealth, Retail, and Transportation. In this role, he helps lead global teams through the planning, execution, and delivery of large scale software projects to help Tresata’s clients uncover and derive actionable insights from their vast troves of data. Previously, he served as a lead Data Engineer where he successfully led multiple Tresata software implementations and PoVs from development to production.
Kristen Koehler is the Technical Sales Lead at Tresata, an intelligence software company born and bred in Charlotte, NC and with offices around the globe. Ms. Koehler has spent the majority of her career as a data engineer working across all of Tresata's key lines of business. Most recently, Ms. Koehler has served as a subject matter expert in the area of financial crime, having led the global implementation of Tresata AML software at one of the largest financial institutions in the world. She is based out of London, UK.
