How-to: Planning and Publishing Academic Research

March 19, 2021 - 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Zoom

Publishing can be a daunting task for a young researcher. Planning out future research projects, knowing where and how to publish, and balancing that work with other responsibilities is not an intuitive skill. In this event, we are excited to have professors from the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and the electrical and computer engineering department come talk about how they manage their research and publishing goals so that students can prepare for their academic careers beyond graduation.

Guest Speakers:

Dr. Colleen Hammelman, Geography

Dr. Elisabeth Paquette, Philosophy

Dr. Hamed Tabkhi, Computer and Electrical Engineering

Dr. Andrew Truman, Biological Sciences
