We will also be joined by Jeff McAdams, Atkins Library's Science and Engineering Librarian, who will give a brief presentation on finding the best places to publish your work and best practices for maximum impact. Jeff will help you feel more confident about choosing a journal for your work, and he'll make you aware of issues that affect you as a published author, such as their author rights and the dissemination, preservation, and potential impact of your work.
