All doctoral students are highly encouraged to join our in-person orientation. The doctoral journey involves unique challenges that undergraduate or even master’s students don’t typically encounter. Therefore, we’ve chosen the morning’s topics with your success in mind, plus we’ve made sure you’ll get opportunities to meet other incoming students. The tentative schedule can be found here.
Parking Details
If you already have your parking pass, you can park in Lot 27. This Lot is a short 4-minute walk up to Harris Alumni Center.
Parking at West Deck:
West Deck is only a 6-minute walk down to the Harris Alumni Center.
Parking at South Village Deck:
South Village is a short 5-minute walk over to the Harris Alumni Center.
The Niner Transit Bus is another option if it is too hot outside. Take the gold line from South Village to Alumni Way (This is the first stop after getting on the transit). The Harris Alumni Center is located across the street on the left side.
To return to South Village Deck via the transit, take the Green line from Alumni Way West, which will lead you directly to South Village Deck.
