Yash Tadimalla, doctoral student in the College of Computing & Informatics, was selected as one of five students statewide to present research at the 2023 Graduate Student and Education Dinner Reception in Raleigh Mar. 29, sponsored by the University of North Carolina Association of Student Governments.
The reception highlights the impact and contributions of North Carolina graduate students on the state’s economy and workforce. In attendance were state legislators, members of the UNC Board of Governors and president of the UNC System Association of Student Governments.
Tadimalla presented on his research, “Attitudes towards Artificial Intelligence: Understanding How Perception of AI Impacts Student Engagement."
“The feedback I received from the legislators was positive,” Tadimalla said, “and they expressed a desire to learn more about the research that was presented.”
